Seven Xpectras are up for auction, each in one of three formats. Six hang in the white room. One waits in the dark.

Auction Week

Three ways to bid

Public

Every bid is visible. A new bid has to beat the last one by at least 5%, and a bid in the closing minutes pushes the close back a few minutes.

Opening bid 1,000 OCT

Sealed

Nobody sees the amounts until bidding closes. Then every bid is revealed and the highest one wins at the price it bid. Each bid holds a 50 OCT bond, returned once the auction settles, as long as the bid is revealed in time.

Minimum bid 1,000 OCT

Dutch

One piece, and its price only goes down. It starts at 30,000 OCT and falls steadily to 10,000 OCT over the week. The first person to buy takes it.

30,000 to 10,000 OCT

The Dark Side

Xpectra #105, a Dark Side Knight bust in black armour with red neon and a tattered cape, standing on a plinth

#105

Xpectra #105

Knight, Dark Side edition

Tattered Cape, Standard Plinth
